New starting point
The past few years have seen fundamental changes in building automation. Where previously individual sections were used for the various tasks, now total systems are being used. In particular, room automation has become of increasing importance. The control and regulation of different sections such as light, temperature, ventilation and blinds brings numerous advantages:
- Room automation ensures the optimum surroundings
- It can be continuously adjusted to the changing requirements for the room and its uses.
- Above all, however, it makes optimum use of energy resources.
The basis is given by the use of modern, decentralised systems. The problem here is that over the years, individual components of the system have to be replaced, or the entire system has to be expanded due to changes in requirements. However, there is still no principle of an open operating system which is compatible for various sections. Every section and every provider has their own operating system, instead of uniformity. Although the existing systems fulfil their technical function well, they can not be openly networked nor sensibly integrated on the data level.
mivune is the only operating system which brings all kinds of individual systems of domestic technology under one roof, regardless of manufacturer and host software.
